Hi everyone!
There was too much happening the last two weeks that I couldn’t deep up with the email update at all. Ya. It was very busy, just with school work alone.
The week before this week was absolutely insane, and I mean when I say insane. We had a career fair, a giant exam (some of us in the major had 2 exams that week), and a giant project that included research, computer modeling, physical modeling, and presentation, all in one week. That week basically marked the beginning of our insanity for the rest of our academic career, possibly the rest of our professional career as well. Our lives don’t seem to get less busy, do we? That seems to be a true statement…… I heard that being parents while working and have a spouse it’s even busier. Hmmmmmmm, I’m scaring myself.
We like breaking the traditional “college-student” mind-set in our own little major. We are still busy with class work all the time. I really wish there is one week I can tell you guys I am not busy but that is probably an impossible thing.
(side note: people are dressing up for Halloween weekend and the football game against Michigan this weekend….)
(Intermission…. Because I walked away for 15 hrs.)
(side note: sorry Michigan fans, but Penn State won.)
I walked away for a whole night, so the part above was written on Saturday night and this following part is written on Sunday afternoon.
Well beside that crazy week there are more exciting things lying around. Like a dance performance this coming weekend, and a new kid in town.
This new kid is a 13 year-old girl who originally from Shen Hai and is adapted by one of our pastor in the church I’m attending. I just met her today at church and already she is out-going and talkative. Her whole family is excited to introduce her into the rest of the family as she came a week ago. There is a great exciting dynamic happening, I would really appreciate your prayers for her. And um, if you want to know more feel free to email me and ask. I would love to tell you all about it right now but it is probably better if a) its not a mass email b) another time than this because I want to get some processing.
So many exciting and busy work going on, I’m about to run out of hours and priorities again, so that means I’ll need to re-shape my schedule. But it’s alright. I wish I can mumble on but I’m afraid it’s going to be so boring, so I’ll stop here. Thanks for reading and praying and supporting.
